Development situation abroad
The United States developed the world's first automated three-dimensional warehouse in 1959.
And in 1963, it took the lead in using computer to control and manage the automated three-dimensional warehouse.
Since then, automated warehouses have developed rapidly in some developed countries in Europe and the United States and Japan. Since the 1970s, developed countries have vigorously promoted the automation, high-speed, and informatization of commodity logistics, and have established large-scale automated three-dimensional warehouses in major cities. In the 1980s, automated three-dimensional warehouses developed rapidly in countries all over the world, and their scope of use involved almost all industries.
With the continuous development of science and technology, advanced technical means can be realized in time in the automated warehouse Application: Automatic collection of information, automatic sorting of items, automatic transportation, automatic storage and retrieval are realized, intelligent inventory control is realized, automatic guided vehicles are widely used, and the efficiency of storage operations is greatly improved. A large-scale automated three-dimensional warehouse can Complete 500~800 times of in and out operations.

The Development Situation of Automated Stereoscopic Warehouse in my country
Compared with foreign developed countries, the development of my country's automated warehouses started relatively late. Since my country's first automated three-dimensional warehouse was built in Zhengzhou Textile Machinery Factory in 1974, the development speed of my country's automated warehouses has been relatively slow. By 1980, 21 automated warehouses had been built or were under construction in my country.
Most of my country's automated warehouses are simple, middle-low and small-scale separated warehouses. There are only two types of shelves: unit shelves and gravity shelves. The operation methods are almost all roadway stackers with peripheral equipment such as trolleys, forklifts or conveyors. These warehouses are mainly distributed in the machinery manufacturing industry, followed by commercial and electrical industries. The control of the warehouse is mainly based on manual control. At present, only the parts warehouse of Beijing Automobile Factory, the warehouse of Changsha Railway Station and the warehouse of Tianjin Storage and Transportation Company can be controlled automatically by a single machine.
