In addition, we need to know the specific size of the pallet, and then design the length and depth of the shelf according to the size of the pallet; as a buyer, before choosing a shelf, we must understand these data, and then the supplier can calculate the size of the shelf.
2. The shipping frequency of the shelves
Some specific industries may have higher requirements for the shipping frequency, and this is also very important for the purchaser to choose the type of storage goods, because different types of shelves meet different shipping frequencies.
3. Loading and unloading equipment
Unlike the manual access of medium-sized shelves, heavy-duty racks have heavier loads, and forklifts are usually used to load and unload shelves. This requires purchasers to inform warehouse shelf manufacturers when purchasing shelves, so as to design the shelves, such as shelf aisles, etc. according to the parameters of the forklift.
4. The load capacity of the warehouse floor
The information needs to be obtained from the contractor. And it is very important if the load-bearing capacity of your warehouse ground is only 1 ton, and the shelf is 5 tons, which will inevitably cause the ground to sink or deform, and even collapse if it is heavy, and there is a potential safety accident.
Do not simply consider building high-level shelves to save space, but also consider the basic weight of the materials stored in the high-level shelves.

Many companies only pay attention to the space utilization of shelves when building shelves, but ignore the concept of logistics.
